We will be hosting a Love & Respect Video Conference, led by Dr. Emerson & Sarah Eggerichs, on Friday, March 30th & Saturday, March 31st @ Star Baptist Church. This conference is designed to help couples and singles achieve the relationship of their dreams. Based on Ephesians 5:33 and the three groundbreaking principles taught in Dr. Eggerichs' best seller "Love and Respect," Emerson and Sarah bring a message that imparts revolutionary insights on how to achieve a brand new level of intimacy and friendship.
These conferences provide resources to the married, divorced, separated, dating, and single! Men and women will learn how to resolve conflict, deal with negative reactions, and how to motivate each other by meeting each other’s need. Even those who feel hopeless in their relationships will gain understanding on how to handle an indifferent or unresponsive partner.
What is love and respect? We believe love best motivates a woman and respect most powerfully motivates a man. Research reveals that during marital conflict a husband most often reacts when feeling disrespected, and a wife reacts when feeling unloved. From the research, those attending the video conference will experience understanding, forgiveness, reconciliation, change, and hope!
This conference is not limited to Star Baptist Church members or attendees; we are opening it to anyone who is interested, so please share this information with your friends & family!
The cost of the video conference is $15.00 per person through March 19, 2012, and $20.00 per person after March 19th. Part of this fee includes a Video Conference Notebook.
To register for the conference, please go to www.loveandrespect.com and follow these steps.
1. Click on "conference registration"
2. To the right of the map, click on the state drop down box and choose "MS;" click "search"
3. Click on "Star Baptist Church" conference
4. Scroll down and click "register"
From there it will walk you through the remainder of the steps to complete registration. If you do not have access to a computer, there is a sign-up sheet on the bulletin board at the church. Please sign your name and leave your registration fee in the church office.
The schedule is as follows:
Friday
6:00pm - 6:30pm - Registration
6:30pm - 10:00pm - Conference
Saturday
8:15am - 8:45am - Fellowship & Refreshments
8:45am-1:45pm - Conference
A nursery will be provided, but we need to know how many to plan for, so please email or call DeVona Parker if you have children who need supervision. Also, if you have any questions or need help walking through the online registration, please contact DeVona @ 601-845-2736.
